MySkin Center Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)


We know how important your skin is to you.

We want you to be completely confident in your decision to see one of our skincare experts. Here is a list of commonly asked questions that we hope will answer some of the questions you may have.


COVID-19 Questions:


Q: Do I have to wear a mask to my appointment?

A: In compliance with the Ministry of Health, our crew will always don their masks and as a patron you have to wear a mask before entering or after exiting our  treatment room. Temperature check is not a requirement for patron but our crew checks daily and perform Antigen Rapid Test if feeling unwell.


Q: Is the salon safe?

A: The crew at MySkin has taken every required precaution stipulated in the Salon Sanitation Guidelines to keep the salon clean and safe. We have installed UVC lamps to kill viruses in the air, use disposable amenities and hired professional cleaning team whose job is sanitation with nano technology ethanol.


Q: Are you blowdrying hair?

A: Yes we will be blowdrying hair in the salon after hair shampooing for hair treatment.


Q: Do I need to call when I arrive for my appointment?

A: No you may enter the salon. We just ask that you adhere to social distancing guidelines.


Q: Are you doing treatment for students?

A: Yes we are accepting students


Q: Can my child come with me to an appointment?

A: Our standard policy remains in place- we ask that you do not bring children who will be left unattended during your service. Due to social distancing guidelines it is unlikely that we will have extra space for them to hang out that meets the space requirements. We apologize for this inconvenience and love having kids in our space who often hang out on a smart device while their parent has a service.


General MySkin Questions:


Q: Do I have to have to do a consultation?

A: We believe in customised treatments for better results in faster time. Every first-time customer with us has an automatically scheduled a complimentary A.I skin analysis with consultation so that clinical aesthetician  can feel  more confident in helping create your skin that is smoother, clearer, younger and healthier looking. We have full of solutions to meet you needs


Q: Do I need to come on a separate day for a consultation?

A: No. We understand you are busy. For your convenience, you can choose to have your consultation the same day of your service, or on a separate day.


Q: How much does a consultation cost?

A: Our consultations are complimentary. If you schedule a consultation on a day separate from your service we charge a $28 booking fee that is deducted from the cost of your service when we see you again.


Q: Do I need to come on a separate day for a consultation?

A: No. We understand you are busy. For your convenience, you can choose to have your consultation the same day of your service, or on a separate day.


Q: How far in advance should I book my appointment?

A: To ensure you get the time that works best and that keeps your skin looking great, our professional recommendation is that you follow your aesthetician suggested time between appointments and schedule for future appointments before you leave.


Q: Is a reservation necessary? Do you accept walk-in appointments?

A: We do accept walk-in appointments but there is no guarantee of availability. To ensure we can provide you the service you need we recommend that you call ahead.


Q: What are your hours?

We want to make it convenient for everyone and decided to open everyday from 10am to 10pm except Chinese New Year


Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We use a contactless payment system that accept Cash, Paynow, Visa/Mastercard, Grabpay, Favepay, Atome 3 Months Installments ,
Every each transaction will send you an e-receipt to your email.


Q: Do you offer gift certificates?

A: We offer gift certificates in any increment you desire.


Q: Do you provide services for women?

A: YES! We know women want to achieve same results with their male partners. Women are always welcome at mySkin with their male companion


Q: How much is skincare treatment?

A: At MySkin, we believe in transparency with our pricing.
Treatments are fixed at $38, $68 or $98 depending on severity and duration of recovery time. Having served almost 10000 customers since 1983, we also have premium services to help stubborn skin problems
We quote our prices before we begin any service. You will always know how much a service cost before you get started


Q: How much is blackhead and pimple treatment?

A: It is either $38, $68 or $98 depending how much time we need to provide visible result in one session


Q: How should I choose the right treatments or products?

A: At MySkin, we believe it is our responsibility as professionals to help you choose what is best for you- which is why we focus on a A.I skin analysis thorough consultation to evaluate your needs and wants.
This allows us to make a recommendation that works best for your needs.


Q: Is your products relaible?

A: With 39 years in Men Skincare, we are very selective in choosing the right ingredients and formulations that must work in our tropical weather for the anatomy of men’s skin. Not only reliable but we believe in eco friendly packaging

Q: Can I bring my children to sit and wait?

A: We love children and we happily have TV screen to keep them busy with NETFLIX. However, we ask that you try not bring a child to your service appointment without having another adult available to supervise while your service is being completed. Salons can be dangerous (lots of sharp and hot things) and we do not want anyone to get hurt.


Q: Do you do hair restoration besides face treatments ?

A: Yes because Singaporean men suffers easily from hair loss


Q: Do you have any guarantees?

A: We hope to always make you happy. We guarantee all of our services and our products for 7 days. After seven days we still want you to call us if you are not satisfied. Our goal is your 100% satisfaction.


Q: Late for treatment

A. If you are late but lesser than 30 minutes, we can continue the treatment but please expect delay should there be a bottleneck situation. Priority have to be our scheduled customers who arrive on time
